Meet Our Team

Kathy Knight has been living in Orange County since 2009. Her and her husband, Steve, raised their family in Northern California. Kathy has 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

Kathy has been in the financial services industry for over 25 years. In those 25 years, she has been actively involved in the communities she has worked and lived in. Kathy owns her own financial planning business where she provides comprehensive financial planning. She works as an independent advisor for New York Life/Eagle Strategies. She has many clients who are both business owners as well as non-business owners in the Orange County area and surrounding states.

Having personally experienced the need for long term care of a loved one, Kathy is passionate about helping people build and protect their businesses, assets, and family legacy. She has over 25 years’ experience helping hundreds of individuals with all aspects of their finances.

Kathy is a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table* (2017-2021) and achieved the Court of the Table status in 2021. She’s also a member of NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) and was recognized as a President’s Council agent by New York Life in 2021.

She has always volunteered her time as well as donated generously to several nonprofit organizations. She is currently on the board of Fountain Valley Chamber. She is involved in the Huntington Beach Chamber. She is a member of Kiwanis and assists with fundraisers for Boys and Girls Club of Huntington Valley, Kindervision, Tee It Up for The Troops, and Waggin Trails Dog Rescue.

In addition to spending time with her three adult children & three grandchildren, she has dogs she loves. Kathy enjoys hiking, reading, working out, camping, snorkeling, playing pickleball, and spending time with friends.
